Welcome to Yoko Hadama’s website, professor of Singing at the Saint Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.

Yoko Hadama is a specialist in the Belcanto vocal emission and technique, the repertoires of the Belcanto and the 1800’s, and of vocal theories and pedagogy of the 1600’s and 1700’s (Caccini, Tosi, Mancini) which are in good part at the base of today’s vocal pedagogy of Belcanto.

The Belcanto is considered the best school for the singing voice having great heirs, like Beniamino Gigli, Maria Callas, Joan Sutherland, Luciano Pavarotti, Alfredo Kraus, etc.
